Per the owner, as of January 4, 2024, construction has started on this project and is anticipated to be completed in April 2024. Closed solicitation has been included below for reference. ............. The City of Pismo Beach (CITY) is requesting sealed proposals to provide professional consulting services from a qualified firm or joint venture of firms (CONSULTANT) for the James Way Beautification Project on James Way The Project consists of beatification of the James Way corridor, which is located on James Way, between Shamrock Lane (Hilton Garden Inn) and Crest Drive (US Post Office). The project includes landscape improvements including removal of concrete between the back of sidewalk and the fence line, removal of raised masonry planters, and addition of landscape shrubs, groundcover and trees with installation of irrigation to the planted areas on the ocean side of the street and repair of the raised masonry planters on the opposite side of the street Specific questions will be accepted in writing up to 72 hours before the proposal due date and time by emailing Madeline Kacsinta, at mkacsinta@pismobeach.org.
