Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Nanticoke, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

CBDG STREET IMPROVEMENTS Washington Street The project involves the reconstruction of approximately 975 linear feet of Washington Street from S. Chestnut to Kosciuszko to Streets. The work includes but is not limited to spot partial depth reconstruction, milling and paving, curb and sidewalk replacement, installation/replacement of ADA ramps, stormwater improvements, inlet/manhole adjustments, and all materials, labor and equipment necessary for a complete installation. This is a unit price bid. This is a unit price bid. The contractor is responsible for the development of the quantities per the marks in the field. Sealed paper bids will be accepted for this Project. . Plans and specifications are on file and open to public inspection at the offices of the Owner, address listed above Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to the Owner in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid or bids. Only bonds from companies licensed to do business in the State where the Owner is located will be accepted and the bond shall so state same. There is no pre-bid meeting scheduled, but prospective bidders are urged to familiarize themselves with the site and review the scope of work and construction documents. The limits of work are marked out in white paint and included as notes on the project plans. Any contractor who does not do so and submits a bid does so at his own risk. Bids must be submitted unconditionally. No bidder may withdraw bid within SIXTY (60) days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality, or to reject any or all bids Davis-Bacon wage rates apply to this contract. MBE/WBE requirements are per CBDG grant requirements. Contractor must have a DUNS number and registered with portal prior to placing a bid. Refer to Special Conditions, Federal Requirements, Paragraph 21 for additional requirements.
