Terracon Project No. 35207303 This is a design-build project. The purpose of this project is to design, renovate, and construct additions to Building 854 (approx. 37120 square feet) to provide a renovated three story residential housing facility termed an Airmen Dormitory. Construct a new steel and concrete structure with merging overbuild roof to the existing roof structure as an exterior corridor system at each floor level. The new exterior corridors will connect to new egress stair towers. There will be new exterior block and brick wall infill, new interior slab infill at the first floor where the existing one story Mechanical and Laundry rooms (one story building projection) are to be removed. There will be new concrete walkways to connect to existing walks, and new concrete steps at each of the stair towers, a new concrete accessible ramp at the main entry, and sitework on the north and west side of the building to prevent water ponding.
