The Work will consist of the demolition and conversion/reconstruction of a 50' x 120' tennis court into 4 pickleball courts. There is severe cracking in the tennis court and due to the current demand of pickleball courts in the area, it has been decided to convert the area to such. We need to demolish the current court, relevel the stone base and resurface with asphalt, and apply 3 coats of acrylic surfacing (3 different colors). The court will also require a new fence. BID TYPE Fixed Fee Contract Clarification Deadline: 5/20/2022 2:00 PM Earliest Start Date July 1, 2022 Estimated Date of Final Completion September 29, 2022 Bids will be publicly awarded at 7:00 PM on June 2, 2022 (local time), at the Kenhorst Borough Hall at 339 South Kenhorst Blvd., Kenhorst, PA 19607. The Municipal Representative at this time is Brian Cole, Authority Manager. Only questions submitted online via PennBid(TM) shall be considered. Responses will be provided on the website and be visible to all Bidders. Any changes to the plans or specifications will be provided as an Addendum and notice will be given to Bidders through the website via email. No responses will be provided for requests received after 2:00 pm on May 20, 2022. The bid must be accompanied by a Cashier's Check, Certified Check, or Bid Bond in the amount of Ten Percent (10%) of the bid, made payable to Kenhorst Borough. Also required are a properly executed Bid Form, Non-Collusion Affidavit, and Contractor's Qualification Statement. The successful bidder shall also be required to provide a Performance Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount within ten (10) calendar days of written notice of acceptance of the Bid. The Borough reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or to accept any portion of any bid, and to award Contracts as is deemed best for the Borough.
