The scope of work includes providing labor, materials, and equipment necessary for inspecting, maintaining and repairing the Port of Edmonds motorized public boat launchers, Dry Storage hydraulic boat launchers, as requested by authorized staff. Additionally, providing solutions through fabrication of designs requested for a variety of specific challenges on Port property or equipment which will include electrical work, hydraulic work, welding, machining of custom parts, installation, troubleshooting and engineering consultation as requested as part of the specific work request provided by the contractor from their equipped shop. Work requests will be issued as needed after the contract is awarded. Work may begin when the Port receives the signed contract, bond waiver, insurance documentation, IRS W-9, and list of any subcontractors if applicable. It is the Port's intent to establish a unit price, as needed contract for these services for a three (3) year period, with the option for one (1) additional year For technical questions regarding this project, submit questions by e-mail to ap@portofedmonds.org with the subject line reading, "Industrial Mechanical Fabrication and Repair" before 10 am, May 2, 2022. The Port of Edmonds reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities or informalities.
