General Work Description: The work to be done, in general, consists of landscape preservation & tree pruning, clearing, grubbing, and miscellaneous demolition, landscape maintenance, irrigation system, landscape planting, landscape soil preparation, and required by the plans, Standard Specifications, and these technical specifications. This contract is subject to the State contract nondiscrimination and compliance requirements pursuant to Government Code Section 12990. The Contractor shall possess a Class A or C-27 California contractors license at the time this contract is awarded. Minimum wage rates for this project as predetermined by the Secretary of Labor are set forth in the special provisions. If there is a difference between the minimum wage rates predetermined by the Secretary of Labor and prevailing wage rates determined by the Department of Industrial Relations for similar classifications of labor, the contractor and his subcontractors shall pay not less than the higher wage rates.
