Estimated cost : $148,000-$189,000 The project consists of completing pavement base reconstruction and paving across several lots on Lane Community College's Main Campus located at 4000 East 30th Avenue, Eugene, Oregon. Asbestos Abatement Work will not be required on this Project. If such work should be required, Owner will engage a State-licensed asbestos abatement contractor using State certified workers to perform Work in accordance with ORS 468A.710. The provisions of Oregon Revised Statutes relative to prevailing wage rates (ORS279C.840), nondiscrimination, resident bidders (ORS 279A.110 & 120), payment of workers compensation and all other applicable regulations shall be complied with by the successful bidder and all subcontractors. Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount of 100% of the contract award will be required on this project. No bid will be considered unless fully completed in the manner provided in the "Instructions to Bidders", and Supplementary Instructions, upon the Bid Form provided and accompanied by a bid security executed in favor of Lane Community College in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid. The bid security shall be forfeited as fixed amount of liquidated damages (not as a penalty) should the successful bidder fail or neglect to enter into a contract and provide suitable bonds for the faithful performance of the contracted work. Incomplete bids and bids not containing all the required statements, certifications and securities shall be ruled non-responsive. No bid may be withdrawn after the hour set for the opening thereof until the elapse of sixty (60) calendar days from the bid opening date. The Board of Education of the College may waive any or all informalities and irregularities, may reject any bid not in compliance with all prescribed public procurement procedures and requirements, and may reject for good cause, any or all bids upon a finding of the College that it is the public interest to do so.
