The work for which bids are asked includes the following: The proposed project includes the complete reconstruction of the east section of Kickaboo Road. The existing roadway within the project limits varies in total paved width far below town standards and has deteriorated due to poor drainage and age. The existing roadway is to be completely removed and replaced with new full depth base, pavement, shoulders, and ditching along the north side of the road. At the east end of the project, a cul-de-sac will be installed to better serve the various driveways, mailboxes, and vehicle turnaround actions. Driveways and field entrances will be maintained, and all disturbed areas restored. All planholders will receive information via Quest on how to join the virtual meeting prior to the bid opening.
