The City of Lookout Mountain is accepting sealed bids for the installation of an irrigation system for the Joe Wilson City Park. All disturbed areas, affected landscaping, grass, sidewalks, etc. are to be restored to their original condition (by the bidder) at the completion of the job. All demolition, excavation, backfill, furnishing of all material (including the piping, valves, wiring, electronic controls, backfill, etc.), installation of all material, is the responsibility of the bidder. The project will consist of the following major items: The installation of a complete irrigation system, including electronic wi-fi controllable control unit, all wiring, all excavation, all backfill, and all restoration of disturbed areas. All disturbed areas, affected landscaping, grass, decks, sidewalks, etc. will be restored to the original condition before the commencement of the job. Bidders shall inform themselves concerning applicable Georgia law and rules and regulations with the Tennessee American Water Company and comply with same. Bidder must provide both start date for the project, and the number of work days for completion of the project. Bidder must provide payment and performance bond. Bidder must provide proof of Workers Compensation Insurance, Contractors liability insurance, and must name the City of Lookout Mountain GA as an additional named insured. The City reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive informalities and immaterial defects in the bids, and re-advertise.
