Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
The Project consists of the replacement of two (2) separate Township Road culverts. The new culverts will be aluminum box culverts, as manufactured by Contech Engineered Solutions. The culverts will be purchased directly by the owner and are not part of this bid installation only). Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum basis. Interested Bidders will be required to register with the Issuing Office at (570) 836-2145 and obtain a link to the documents. Partial sets of the Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Printed Bidding Documents can be made available upon request for a fee to cover the cost of reproduction. Each Bidder must deposit with his Bid, security in the amount of ten (10) percent of the Bid amount and subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. In addition, the successful Bidder will be required to post both a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract price if awarded the contract. Should the bid exceed $25,000, a PA Prevailing Wage Determination applies to this project per Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act 442. This determination has been acquired and is part of the bidding documents. The Owner hereby reserves the right to reject any/or all Bids. The Owner also reserves the right to waive any defects, errors, omissions, irregularities or informalities in Bids received.
