As of July 20,2022, This project has been awarded to Urban Dirtworks Inc, with the awarded amount of $595,487.64. The City of Red Deer has roughly 300 stormwater outfalls to the river and creeks within the City limits. In 2013, major flooding occurred on the Red Deer River. In 2014, 145 of the outfalls were inspected to determine their current conditions. Of these, Outfall 103, 128, 129 and 134 were negatively impacted by the 2013 flood based on orthophoto analysis and were chosen for repairs. The scope of the Work includes, but is not limited to, the following (in no particular order): Schedule A: Outfall 103 Repairs and Rehabilitation a. ECO plan preparation and implementation, b. Supply and installation of erosion and sediment control and tree protection measures, c. Supply and installation of rig-matted access and laydown areas, d. Supply and installation of stormwater concrete flared end and or outfall with/without flared end e. Supply and installation of gravel bedding, geotextile, green matting and rip rap, and; f. Supply and installation of topsoil, seeding, and rehabilitation of all landscaped areas. g. Supply and installation of shrubs and trees and maintenance. h. Trim necessary pipes i.
