This project has been awarded to the following contractors: Contract 22-1.1 (General Construction) – Scartelli Construction, Scranton, PA = $ 449,000 Contract 22-1.2 (Electrical Construction) – Nevarc Electrical, Roaring Brook Twp., PA = $ 24,300 Contract 22-1.3 (HVAC Construction) – KC Mechanical Service, Mt. Bethel, A = $31,495 The work shall consist of constructing an approximately 25' L x 34'-9", masonry block garage and maintenance shop addition to the existing digester and sludge dewatering building. Contract 22-1.1 General Construction - Construct new masonry block building including new trolley hoist and site work. Contract 22-1.2 Electrical Construction - Provide and install electrical power supply for new building including power distribution panel and wiring to equipment and fixtures. Contract 22-1.3 Heating and Ventilation Construction - Provide and install ventilation fan and extend heating duct into the addition. Clarification Deadline: 7/5/2022 4:00 PM Bidders must provide with their Proposal (or Bid) either a certified bank treasurer's check, a certified cashier's check payable to the order of Lackawanna River Basin Sewer Authority, or a bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid. The two apparent low bidders will be required after bids are opened to provide proof of prior experience and adequate resources to complete the project. The successful low bidder will be required to furnish fully executed original Proposal (or Bid) forms. Failure to fully comply with all bid requirements including but not limited to the above will be cause to reject a bid. Bidders are advised that PA Prevailing Minimum Wage Rates are incorporated in the Contract Documents, and they must be paid to all workers employed at the construction site. LRBSA may hold all Bids and they shall remain irrevocable for 60 days from the Bid Opening date. The Authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, waive any informalities or irregularities, or negotiate contract amounts. The successful Contractors will be required to furnish upon Contract Award a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each for one hundred (100%) percent of the contract price as bid.
