Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Provincetown, Massachusetts. Conceptual plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.

The four and half acre parcel is located on Winslow Street, and currently provides fields for outdoor recreational programs in Provincetown. The Town seeks a consultant to provide a master plan for Motta Field that will also address current Town wide recreational needs and plan for the anticipated future needs of the community. The Town envisions that the project will be completed in two phases. Phase one will include completion of a town wide recreational facility inventory, community-planning process, identification and development of a final design concept and the master plan for Motta Field. Phase Two will include construction bid documentation preparation, permitting, assisting with potential grant funding, and consulting during the construction phase. The selected Consultant should possess the skill set needed to successfully carry the project from Phase One through Phase Two. The intent of this RFP is to select a Consultant to complete Phase One. Upon completion of Phase One, the Town may decide to engage the Phase One Consultant to undertake Phase Two. The Consultant should possess the expertise necessary to complete Phase One including, but not limited to: landscape architecture and athletic field design planning, design development, community planning, environmental planning and permitting, interpretive element design, project management, and cost estimating. Refer to Part Two of this RFP for a proposed Scope of Services. The Town has established a not-to-exceed budget of $90,000.00 to complete Phase One - Master Plan Development. Questions regarding the RFP and/or technical requirements may be addressed in writing to Brandon Motta, Recreation Director at 2 Mayflower St, Provincetown, MA 02657. Questions may be hand delivered, mailed, or emailed to Bmotta@provincetown-ma.gov by June 30th at 4:00 p.m. Amount and type of general liability insurance. Provide proof of coverage for General Liability insurance in the amount of a minimum of $1,000,000. Other normal insurances to statutory limits are required The contract period shall be from the Notice of Award until completion of the project, which is anticipated to be a nine (9) month project. Proposal is presented clearly, proposal demonstrates the ability to achieve goals and objectives, and demonstrates the understanding of tasks expected of the consultant within stated budget to be completed by early Spring 2023. The selected Consultant will be required to execute the Town's Designer Services Contract within five (5) business days of presentation of the contract by the Town. The Town reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or to cancel this Request for Proposals if it is in the Town's best interest to do so. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time
