Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Edinboro, Pennsylvania. Conceptual plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a 19,500-square-foot sidewalk / parking lot.
The Work is generally described as milling and asphalt pavement overlay of two parking areas totaling approximately 19,500 square feet. A certified check or bank draft, payable to the Borough of Edinboro, or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety, in an amount equal to 10% of the total of the Bid shall be submitted with each Bid. The Contractor must abide by all laws and regulations applicable to locally funded public contracts, including but not limited to equal employment opportunity. Prevailing wages will apply if the contract price exceeds $25,000. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in the bidding. Bids may be held by the Owner for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of opening bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders, prior to awarding the contract.
