Work to be performed under this contract consists of the following: Providing all materials, equipment, and labor to install or construct vibrating wire piezometers and associated trenching/boring, vibration and noise monitoring, groundwater piezometers; groundwater control systems; approximately 900 linear feet of 12-inch diameter toe drain piping and storm drain manholes; chain link fencing and chain link gate; staff gauge, slide gate shaft replacement, approximately 400 linear feet of gravel access roadway; erosion and water pollution control; earthen dam modifications to include installation and compaction of ch imney drain systems, blanket drain systems and imported earth embankment dam material; site restoration; and all other work as specified herein and as shown on the drawings. All construction work is to be completed within 120 working days. All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in cash, certified check,cashiers check, or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) ofthe amount ofsuch bid proposal. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish satisfactory performance bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall to Contracting Agency The Contracting Agency reserves the right, to reject any and all bids and to waive any immaterial irregularities or informalities in any bid or in the bidding.
