The work completed under this contract shall include the supply of all equipment, labour and materials necessary for the performance of the work. All waste material shall be disposed of by the Contractor in strict accordance with provincial, local and municipal regulations and Part 8 of the National Building Code and with the Canadian Construction Safety Code. The project site is located at Port Edward Small Craft Harbour, 200 Bayview Drive, Port Edward, BC V0V 1G0 The work to be carried out under this contract generally includes the following mandatory work: 1. Mobilization/Demobilization 2. Demolition of Existing Structures and Materials 3. Grade and Compact Existing Subbase Material 4. Paving The following is a list of optional work items that are located towards at the south end of the project site. The Owner will determine whether or not the optional work is to be completed prior to executing the contract: 1. Demolition of Existing Structures and Materials (south end of the project site) 2. Storm System 3. Grade and Compact Existing Base Material (south end of the project site) 4. Paving (south end of the project site) To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project is estimated to cost between $1,000,001 and $5,000,000.
