2022 Liquid Fuels Pave Project Bids Are Invited Upon the Following Items of Work as Follows: Maintenance & Protection of Traffic, Base Repair, Milling, Leveling, Wearing Courses, Ada Ramps, and Miscellaneous Pave Related Work. BID SECURITY in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total bid shall be submitted with each bid, in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Performance, Payment & Maintenance Bonds are required by the successful bidder. Prevailing Wage Rates shall be included in this project. THE BOROUGH OF DURYEA reserves the right to reject any or all Bids or to waive informalities in the bidding. BIDS may be held by the BOROUGH OF DURYEA for a period not to exceed FORTY-FIVE (45) days from the date of the Opening of the Bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids, prior to awarding the Contract. In this period of time, no Bidder may withdraw his Bid. If all work is not completed within the specific time, the Contractor shall pay the Owner, as a fixed, agreed and liquidated damages the sum of two hundred & fifty dollars ($250.00) for each calendar day thereafter required to complete the work. Excusable days, as defined herein, will be credited to the Contract, if properly documented and justified, as so determined by the Owner.
