Alpine School District is seeking a contractor to demolish six cabins located at the ASD Clear Creek Camp near Scofield Utah. Demolition services including blasting service. Heavy construction machinery and equipment including equipment for paving and earth moving. This Request for Proposals ("RFP"), having been determined to be the appropriate procurement method to provide the best value to the Conducting Procurement Unit, is designed to provide interested Offerors with sufficient basic information to submit proposals. This Request for Proposals ("RFP") is issued in accordance with the Utah Procurement Code and applicable administrative rules of the Utah Administrative Code. If any provision of this RFP conflicts with the Utah Procurement Code or Utah Administrative Code, then the Utah Procurement Code or Utah Administrative Code will take precedence. It is not intended to limit a proposal's content or exclude any relevant or essential data. Offerors are at liberty and are encouraged to expand upon the specifications to evidence service capability. The purpose of this RFP is to enter into a contract to provide: The demolition of six existing cabins located at the Alpine School District Clear Creek Camp near Scofield Utah. It is anticipated that this RFP will result in a single contract award to the responsive and responsible offeror with the highest score justified by the procurement code. Bidders must be early or on time, as the walk-through will be closed precisely at the listed time. Those even one minute late will be turned away. Please plan accordingly. ASD is consistently in the process of maintaining and upgrading the systems in each of its buildings to ensure they are running effectively and efficiently. Clear Creek cabins are aged and are a liability that needs to be demolished. DESCRIPTION OF WORK Refer to the attached plans for a complete scope of work. 1. Project Start Date: October 1st, 2022 2. Demolition of six existing student cabins. 3. All site utilities are to be demolished and capped off outside the building. 4. Restrooms facilities and all other structures/utilities will remain. 5. Contractor shall completely remove all footings and foundations, and restore site grading at cabin locations. The contractor shall verify existing conditions at the pre-bid walkthrough. 6. Contractor will be responsible for the asbestos abatement in the cabins. See the attached report. 7. The work for this project shall be constructed under a single prime contract.
