Site work and paving for a civil project in West Mahanoy Township, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
Sealed bids will be received by the West Mahanoy Township Supervisors, Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania for the Radio Station Road Improvement Project. Bids for this Contract shall be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Bid. All Bids shall be effective for sixty (60) calendar days. The Work must be completed prior to April 28, 2023. The Work generally consists of furnishing all equipment, labor and materials for, but not necessarily limited to, the following: Removal/ replacement of existing storm sewer inlet and storm sewer pipe, road widening, vegetative swale, rock swale, installation of asphalt leveling course and 9.5MM Overlay. The work location is more specifically identified in the project manual/bid documents and project drawings. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish and pay for a satisfactory Performance Bond, and a Labor and Material Payment Bond, each in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price with a corporate surety approved by the Owner. All materials and work must conform to the most recent edition of PennDOT Publication 408 in place at the time of bid submission unless otherwise specified. West Mahanoy Township reserves the right to reject any or all Bids or portions thereof, and to accept any Bid, or portion of Bid and the right to waive any immaterial defects with the bidding process which in its judgment is in the best interest of the Township. West Mahanoy Township and their representatives are not responsible for bids mailed but not received. liquidated damages apply at the rate of $850.00 per calendar day
