The scope of work includes removal and disposal of sludge from the City of Unions Union East STP located on 1999 Denmark Rd. Proposals must be submitted on the Bid Form provided by the City of Union and placed in a sealed envelope addressed to the City of Union bearing the name and address of the bidder and clearly marked FY2022 Union East STP - sludge removal and Disposal or they will not be considered Proposals shall be mailed or delivered to Jonita Copeland, City Clerk, City of Union, 10 East Locust, Union, Missouri 63084. The City of Union anticipates issuing a notice to proceed in February 2023. The Contractor and all subcontractors will be required to comply with all applicable State Regulations including Equal Employment Opportunities, Non-segregated Facilities, Prevailing Wage Rates and Affirmative Action Requirements, and all other work incidental thereto as described in the Contract Documents. Any person signing a contract to work on the construction of public works for any public body shall provide a ten-hour Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) construction safety program for their on-site employees which includes a course in construction safety and health approved by OSHA or a similar program approved by the department which is at least as stringent as an approved OSHA program. All employees are required to complete the program within sixty days of beginning work on such construction project.
