Per the owner, as of September 17, 2025, this project is in the conceptual phase. The feasibility study was awarded to Dubois & King. The owner states that Dubois & King have also been asked to submit a proposal for design engineering, but that award has not yet been finalized. The owner states that the project will need to go through various stages of review before a general contractor is selected. Closed solicitation has been included below for reference. ........... Anticipated tasks to achieve the scope of work may include the following, however consultants are invited to submit a proposal that addresses the most relevant tasks within the scope of work consistent with the budget available if justification is provided. Ferrisburgh completed a Safe Routes to School Travel Plan in 2012. The town would like to take the next steps in scoping and preparing budgets for sidewalks and crosswalks identified in that plan that improve pedestrian connectivity along U.S. Route 7 near the intersection of Little Chicago Road and Middlebrook Road.
