The City of Colville is hereby soliciting RFP's (Request for Proposal) to remove snow and ice hazards from approximately 8.5 miles of City Streets. The work consists of furnishing any equipment and labor deemed necessary, on-call by the City of Colville Public Works Department, to remove snow and ice hazards from approximately 8.5 miles of City Streets. The period of this contract shall be for a period of one year from its effective date. The City may, at its option, extend the contract on a year-to-year basis, however, either party may at any time during the life of the contract, or any extension thereof, terminate the contract by giving thirty (30) day's notice in writing to the other party of its intention to cancel. Prices shall remain firm for the first twelve-month period of the contract unless an exception is stated in the bid. Award(s) will be based on the price, as well as ability to meet minimum specifications. The award(s) will be made to the responsive and responsible vendor(s) who offer the best value and quality to the City. The City of Colville City Council reserves the right to waive minor irregularities in the proposals and/or the right to reject and or all proposals.
