Per the owner, as of September 5, 2024, this project is under construction. Closed solicitation has been included below for reference. ............ The Town of Fairfax is inviting licensed architect and engineering teams to bid on: 1) the design of an addition and renovation to the Fairfax Fire Department; and 2) construction administration for the project. The preliminary addition site plan, floor plan, elevations, outline of work, and phase plan are available to the lower left of the screen. These plans shall be used as the basis for project design. Proposed construction administration costs shall be provided by phase. Design services shall be completed as soon as feasible to accommodate spring 2023 bidding with summer 2023 construction. It is recognized that not all phases are achievable under this project. Requests for walk-throughs and questions may be made to the Town Manager (see contact info below). Bid selection will be per the Town's Purchasing Policy (see above link). Bid packages shall include a certificate of insurance for the designers, a proposed contract, timeline, and itemization of staff to be assigned to work tasks. Qualified small, minority, and women-owned businesses are encouraged to apply. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time. As of January 24, 2023, the due date has been confirmed with the owner.
