For Bituminous Seal Patch Allows zero unit prices and labor Yes Allows negative unit prices and labor Yes The bid item Bituminous Seal Patch will include the following: EQUIPMENT: A.M.Z. Brand Spray Patch Unit or equal - 250 gallon minimum. The unit shall have a heating system capable of maintaining, at all times, the specific temperature of the asphaltic materials. A flashing traffic directional arrow to aid in traffic control and warning shall be installed on the unit in manner as to be readily visible by oncoming traffic. Material Transport Unit - This unit will be of sufficient size as to be able to transport bituminous material, sand and aggregate of sufficient quantity simultaneously to and from the job site. Backup Truck & Signing - Proper signing and backup truck with arrow board will be used in accordance with LCRC Work Zone Signing Policy (May 2005). Sweeping of Road Surface - Each day after application, road will be swept by mechanical broom removing all loose material from the road surface. Any unacceptable operation will be discontinued immediately and such decision will be the sole discretion of the Lapeer County Road Commission.
