Renovation of a municipal facility in Madison, Wisconsin. Working plans call for the renovation of a 43,808-square-foot municipal facility.
As of August 18, 2025, project is on hold. No definite date for the rebid. In general, the work consists of: This project will replicate the existing floor treatment configuration in the State Capitol as designed during the State Capitol Restoration Project as closely as possible. This project replaces the 43,808 sf of carpet and carpet pad in the corridors, rooms and offices located on four floors in the North Wing of the State Capitol. Project Location: Wisconsin Department of Administration , Wisconsin State Capitol 2 E Main Street Madison, WI 53702 The 2017-2019 Wisconsin State Budget (2017 Wisconsin Act 59) repealed Wisconsin's prevailing wage laws. Effective September 23, 2017, state prevailing wage requirements on state building projects no longer apply. These changes take effect for projects advertised for bid after September 23, 2017. This change does not affect the Federal Davis Bacon Act requirements. completion- 242 consecutive calendar days Question Deadline 07/04/2025 No verbal explanation or instructions will be given in regard to the meaning of the drawings or specifications during the bid period. Bidders shall bring inadequacies, omissions or conflicts to the Architect/Engineer's attention at least ten (10) days before the date set for bid opening .
