As of May 15, 2023, the project has been awarded. A timeline for construction has not been confirmed. This project consists of obtaining all materials and completing all work related to the construction of an addition to the Public Works Building to be used for storage, along with incidental items for the work complete in place at the location identified in the contract documents. The work includes constructing/erecting a pole barn or other suitable building in the specified location shown on the overview Drawing, including any foundation work for the addition. The building shall connect to the existing Public Works Building with a roofed bay open on one side as shown on the overview Drawing and have an appearance matching that of the existing building. All building and foundation design services shall be provided as part of the Work. No floor slab is required as part of the Work, but if the Owner accepts the Contractor's optional additional Lump Sum Bid, the scope of work shall include obtaining all materials and completing all work related to the construction of a slab in the closed portion of the Public Works Building Storage Annex. Site grading as needed to place the building will be conducted by the Township in coordination with the Work to be completed by the Contractor. The contractor must fulfill all applicable federal, state, and local regulatory and code requirements. West Manchester Township, in accordance with Title VI of the U.S. Civil Rights Act of 1964 and Parts 21 and 23 of 49 C.F.R., notifies all respondents that it will affirmatively ensure that MBE/WBE will be afforded full opportunity to submit proposals in response to this invitation and that no person will be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, sex, or national origin in consideration for an award. Work must be performed to ensure that non-discrimination/sexual harassment provision of the contract documents and the CFA are met. The work shall also conform to the requirements of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act.
