The City of Winooski, Vermont Community Services Department is requesting proposals for the removal of several hazard trees at Myers Pool, Landry Park, and Casavant Natural Area in Winooski, Vermont. The City of Winooski, Vermont (VT) Community Services Department is requesting proposals for the removal of several hazard trees at Myers Pool, Landry Park, and Casavant Natural Area in Winooski, VT (as identified below in "Scope of Work"). Work under this project shall be completed no later than April 28, 2023. Myers Memorial Pool: Removal of large oak tree to northwest of the pool. Landry Park: Removal of approximately 10 trees (poplar and box elder) that pose a fall risk to trails, sledding hill, and/or softball field outfield. Casavant Natural Area: Removal of 3 trees that pose a fall risk to trails. All trees will be marked with tape by no later than February 8, 2023. Bids should include all costs associated with removal of identified trees, clean up/removal of all debris, and as appropriate, stump removal/clean up. The City of Winooski reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids submitted, to waive any informalities, and to accept the bid deemed to be in the best interest of the City, regardless of price.
