The Burlington Public Works Department, Water Resources Division is seeking proposals for seasonal lawn maintenance service for Water Resource Division facilities. This is to include but not limited to mowing, trimming, and blowing services from 5/1/2023 through 11/30/2027. The scope of work includes the seasonal mowing and trimming of grass, and blowing of grass clippings at the City's three (3) Wastewater Treatment Plants (WWTPs), 2 elevated Water Tanks,and the Reservoir. Each facility has a few special needs that are detailed in the RFP document. Any payment, however, final or otherwise, shall not release the Contractor or their sureties from any obligations under the Contract Documents or any performance or payment bond. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to negotiate with one or more parties, or to award the contract to the proposal the City deems will meet its best interests, even if that proposal is not the lowest bid. The City reserves the right to re-advertise for additional proposals and to extend the deadline for submission of the proposals. This Request for Proposals in no way obligates the City to award a contract.
