Project was awarded to Quaker Sales Corporation amounting of $40,567.50 Bituminous Single Seal Coat approximately 18,030 SY Base Bid and Option 1 using Precoated Aggregate; as specified Bid must be accompanied by satisfactory security executed by the bidder and an acceptable surety authorized to do business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in the amount of 10% of the bid made payable to u8220 West Leechburg Borough.u8221 Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. Proposals must be upon the forms provided. No bidder may withdraw their bid within 60 days after the opening thereof. Contractors must comply with the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970, the Drug-Free Workplace Act of 1988, the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, the Public Works Employment Verification Act of 2012, the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act of October 27, 1955, as amended, and follow applicable C DC and Pa. Dept. of Health guidelines and orders. Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Rates do not apply as this work is considered maintenance.
