Description

Site work and paving for a road / highway in Edmundston, New Brunswick. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

The City of Edmundston is inviting interested tenderers to present an offer for the upgrade of the underground and street infrastructures in the sectors of Morin Avenue and Mgr. Numa Pichette Boulevard. Tender documents regarding this contract may be obtained only at the Development department, located on the 2nd floor of Edmundston City Hall, via e-mail at plan@edmundston.ca or by calling 506-739-2125. The latest revision and amendments of the Regulation 2022-78 of the Procurement Act (O.C.2022- 306), apply to this tender. A Bid Bond or a Certified Check in the amount of 10% of the tender price, payable to the City of Edmundston, must accompany the tender. The successful tenderer will be required to provide a Performance and a Labour and Material Payment Bond each in the amount of 50% of the accepted tender price in compliance with the Construction Remedies Act and the General Regulation - Construction Remedies Act, (OC 2021-273) including the requirement a Labour and Material Payment Bond in substantially the same form as Form 18 and a Performance Bond in substantially the same form as Form 19 of the General Regulation - Construction Remedies Act. Tenders will have to be signed and the name, address and phone number of the tenderer will also have to be indicated. The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted, and tenders received after the specified closing time and date will not be accepted.
