The scope of work for this project includes playground installation, accessible path construction, landscaping and related work Bids must be enclosed in a sealed envelope plainly endorsed on the outside for HETZEL PARK IMPROVEMENTS and be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, made payable to the Borough of Ridley Park. Attention of bidders is called to all of the requirements contained in this bid packet, particularly to the Federal Labor Standards Provisions and Davis-Bacon and Related Acts, Public Works Employment Verification, Section 3 of the Housing & Community Development Act, various insurance requirements, Central Contractors Registration, various equal opportunity provisions, the requirement for a payment bond and performance bond for 100% of the contract price and a one-year maintenance bond for 10% of the contract price. The Borough of Ridley Park reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids thereof, and waive any informalities in the bidding, as they deem in the interest of the Borough.
