Renovation of an educational facility in Rangely, Colorado. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 22,140-square-foot, one-story above grade educational facility.
This project consists of the upgrade to the electrical service for the Colorado Northwestern Community College (CNCC) Johnson Building. The building was construction in 1962 and is 22,140 GSF located on one level. The building houses the main campus food service, student services, conference rooms, and classrooms. Question Acceptance Deadline : Email Questions Due March 29th , 2023 Questions are submitted online : No The project includes: o Replace the electrical service. o Replace panelboards. o Provide emergency backup generator to serve the Johnson Building, and the McLaughlin server room. o Provide surge suppression. Contractor will be responsible for obtaining and coordinating Electrical and Plumbing permit and inspection requirements. Scope of Services The over all project includes the following: o Replace the electrical service with a 1,600A, 480Y/277V NEMA 3R switchboard which will replace both the existing NEMA 3R switchboard as well as the interior MDP and Motor Control Center. o Replace 16 panelboards and existing transformers. o Provide 125kW natural gas generator, automatic transfer switches and temporary generator docking station. o Provide a Louvered screen wall enclosure for the generator See Project Manual for additional information
