Site work for a civil project in Boiling Spring Lakes, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
GENERAL SCOPE OF WORK: The City of Boiling Spring Lakes proposes stormwater drainage improvements along Holly Drive and Redwood Road. The work generally includes but is not limited to installation of reinforced concrete pipe storm sewer ranging in size from 18-inch diameter to 42-inch diameter along with concrete inlets and manholes. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to the Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by the Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered by either mail or approved electronic means to all parties recorded by the Engineer as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than five (5) days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Only questions answered by Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect. Contractor waives the right to rely on information provided by the Engineer which is not provided in writing and in the form of a formal Addendum.
