Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Chesterton, Indiana. Completed plans call for the construction of a playground / park / athletic field.

The project includes the construction of the new loop trail around the existing pond at Coffee Creek Park, located on the north side of Morgan Avenue in Chesterton, Indiana. The 6-foot-wide loop trail will be approximately 1/4 mile in length, including approximately 550 linear feet of boardwalk. The boardwalk will traverse the pond and the shoreline. The remaining segments of the loop trail will be a compacted aggregate surface, approximately 6 inches in depth. This will include all permits, labor, materials, tools, equipment, insurance, transportation, facilities, and such other incidental materials, labor and services necessary for the construction of the new Pond Enhancement Loop in accordance with the Contract Documents. The Contract Documents included with these Instructions to Bidders include a full description of the Work required for construction of Pond Enhancement Loop Project.
