As of June 8, 2023, an engineer has been selected and this project is in the design phase. Although a firm timeline for construction has not been determined, construction is not expected to start prior to May 2024. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The scope includes both preliminary and final design of the new structure to replace B-13-0950 over the Saunders Creek. The new structure is to be hydraulically-sized and designed to current WisDOT/Bureau of Structures standards. The new bridge is proposed to be a 30 ft. wide and 52.5 ft. long, single span structure constructed on the current alignment. The proposed length of the approach work is approximately 100 ft. each, for a total project length of approximately 252.5 feet. The scope includes both preliminary and final design of the new structure to replace B-13-0056 over the Koshkonong Creek. The new structure is to be hydraulically-sized and designed to current WisDOT/Bureau of Structures standards. The new bridge is proposed to be a 28 ft. wide and 78.5 ft. long, 2-span structure constructed on the current alignment. The proposed length of the approach work is approximately 100 ft. each, for a total project length of approximately 278.5 feet. The scope includes both preliminary and final design of the new structure to replace B-13-0953 over the Door Creek. The new structure is to be hydraulically-sized and designed to current WisDOT/Bureau of Structures standards. The new bridge is proposed to be a 34 ft. wide and 46.5 ft. long, single span structure constructed on the current alignment. The proposed length of the approach work is approximately 100 ft. each, for a total project length of approximately 246.5 feet. This project is currently scheduled for a September 2024 LET. Dane County reserves the right to accept any part of this bid deemed to be in the best interest of the County. The County also retains the right to accept or reject any or all bids. Proposals must be submitted via the County's eProcurement Portal before 2:00 pm on Tuesday, May 9, 2023. Late, faxed, mailed, hand-delivered, or incomplete proposals will be rejected unless otherwise specified. Dane County is not liable for any cost incurred by proposers in replying to this RFP. The County reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to negotiate the terms of the contract, including the award amount, with the selected proposer prior to entering into a contract.
