Site work and paving for a road / highway in Old Forge, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The work involves paving of the following city streets including transitions and gutter milling (or full width milling) as indicated, Overlays consisting of 1-1/2 WMA Wearing Course, WMA Scratch Coat (90# SY) as indicated, Bituminous Tack Coat, Adjustment of Manholes, Line Painting and Maintenance and Protection of Traffic. The preparation for the Tack Coat and adjustments of any utility valves shall be included in the cost of the items listed. The Project consists of sawcutting, bituminous pavement base replacement, full width milling, bituminous overlay, inlet and pipe installation of the streets designated on the associated drawings. The Borough reserved the right to reject any or all bids or portions thereof or to waive any informalities in the bidding. A bid must be accompanied by a certified/cashier's check or Bid Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid amount, made payable to The Borough of Old Forge.
