Contractors are invited to submit sealed bids for the City of Olmos Park Sanitary Sewer Bond Project Phase C. The project bid package consists of a Base Bid and three Add Alternate Bids. The Base Bid scope of work includes pipe burst of 2,357 LF of lined 6-inch pipe, reconnect 45 sewer laterals, remove, and replace 7 manholes, rehabilitate 5 manholes, 1-point repair by open cut, and site restoration. The Add Alternate 1 scope of work includes pipe burst of 409 LF of lined 6-inch pipe, 1-point repair by open cut, remove and replace 1 manhole structure, rehabilitate 1 manhole structure, reconnect 4 sewer laterals, and site restoration. Time from Notice to Proceed until Substantial Completion for Base Bid is 120 Calendar Days. Final completion must be achieved within 15 calendar days after the Substantial Completion date. Add 7 calendar days to the schedule for each add alternate approved for completion. The Add Alternate 2 scope of work includes pipe burst of 339 LF of lined 6-inch pipe, reconnect 9 service laterals, rehabilitate 1 manhole, 3-point repairs, and site restoration. The Add Alternate 3 scope of work includes pipe burst of 348 LF of lined 6-inch pipe, reconnect 7 service laterals, rehabilitate 1 manhole, 1-point repair, and site restoration.
