1. Installation of erosion control measures. Including removal costs upon completion. 2. Construct 4,200 square-foot Site access road to slope face and lower retaining wall without disturbing existing retaining wall structures. 3. Installation of GeoPier SRT(R) plate piles on failed slope across an area of 3,000 square feet. 4. General excavation and removal of approximately 40 cubic yards of existing on-site soils or materials. 5. Construction of 140 linear feet of trench drains. 6. Construction of 75 linear feet of drain tile connected to existing stormwater drop shaft. 7. Shop drawings and construction of 400 square-foot, pressure treated lumber fence adjacent to lower retaining wall. 8. Slope surface clearing, grubbing, grade restoration, and implementation of Vegetation Management Plan (VMP) across 8,700 square feet. 9. Removal of 4,200 square-foot Site access road. 10. Landscape restoration of 4,200 square feet of seed and top- soil. a bid bond or certified check payable to the Village of Shorewood equal to 5% of the largest possible total bid. The Site is located in the Northeast 1/4 of Section 3 of Township 7 North and Range 22 East of the 4 th Principle Meridian in Milwaukee, County, Wisconsin. An approximately 120-foot-tall bluff is located along the eastern extent of the property between the existing residence and Lake Michigan shoreline. The subsurface conditions of the bluff in this area generally consist of native clayey till deposits with interbedded layers of permeable sand and silt. The storm sewer outfall and drop shaft are located approximately 35 to 40 feet in elevation below the crest of the bluff. As part of the storm sewer repair performed in 2021, several wood retaining walls, a riprap swale, and shoreline stone armoring were installed at the Site. Since completion of the 2021 repairs, the slope between two of the wood retaining walls has experienced surface erosion and excessive slope movement. The lower retaining wall, below the slope movement, has also tilted eastward and the wood lagging has cracked in areas.
