Renovation of a residential development in Barron, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
Bid Security: Bids shall be accompanied by a security deposit in the form of a Bid Bond or certified check in the amount of not less than 10 percent of the Bid Sum. Endorse the bid security in the name of the Owner as obligee, signed and sealed by the Contractor as principal and by the Surety. Include the cost of the Bid security in the Bid Sum. Government Center, Barron Wisconsin. In general the project consists of the remodeling of the second floor north wing which used to house the jail. General, Plumbing, HVAC and Electrical work to convert the space into a kitchen with adjacent storage and support areas is proposed. Bids shall be prepared in accordance with the contract documents prepared by the Designer. Proposals shall not be withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) days after the date of the bid opening. Barron County reserves the right to reject in whole or in part any or all bids, to waive any informalities or irregularities therein, and to award the bid determined to be in the best interest of the County. This invitation for bids may be canceled if determined to be in the best interest of the County.
