Site work for a water / sewer project in Milford, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Bids must be made on standard proposal forms in the manner designated therein, and required by the specifications, must be enclosed in sealed envelopes, bearing the name and address of the bidder a nd the name of the project on the outside, addressed to the Borough of Milford, 30 Water Street, Milford, New Jersey 08848 and must be accompanied by a Non-Collusion Affidavit and a Bid Bond or Certified Check for not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount bid, providing said check or bid bond need not be more than $20,000.00 nor shall not be less than $500.00, and be delivered at the place on or before the hour named above. Question Deadline 06/29/2023 at 12:00 AM ET The deadline for submitting inquiries is 12:00 noon, 7 days before the opening ofbids. Water System Improvements Phylis Lane, Williams Street and York Road The work will be funded by USEPA and the Borough of Milford. The major construction items include: Base Bid: 2,400 l.f. 6" C.L.D.I.P.; 29 units 3/4 " Water Service Connections, 870 l.f. 3/4 " Type K Copper Pipe; 5 units Fire Hydrant Assemblies; 2 units 6" Wet Tap; Topsoil and Pavement Restoration and Other Incidental Items. Alternate Bid: Remove Item 6 and replace with A6 - 1,300 l.f. 6" D.I.P. supplied by Borough and A6.1 - 1,100 l.f. 6" D.I.P. The Borough shall reserve the right to award the Base Bid, Alternate Bid or to reject all bids in accordance with the Local Public Contracts Law.
