Site work for a road / highway in Milford, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
The work will be funded by FEMA and the Borough ofMilford. The major construction items include: Base Bid Contract 1 &2: 1,600 sffabric encapsulated soil bank stabilization with boulder toe repairs; lump sum rock structure stabilization (2 structures) repairs to upper and lower rock structures including 30 ea 4' dia boulders; 2,000 sy riparian zone seed restoration; 1,600 sf riparian zone plantings (live stakes); 50 cy concrete footing for retaining wall; 600 sf wire fabric retaining wall with geogrid; and other incidental items The Borough shall reserve the right to award the Base Bid for both projects combined or to reject all bids in accordance with the Local Public Contracts Law. Bids must be made on standard proposal forms in the manner designated therein, and required by the specifications, must be enclosed in sealed envelopes, bearing die name and address ofthe bidder and the name ofthe project on die outside, addressed to the Borough of Milford, 30 Water Street, Milford, New Jersey 08848 and must be accompanied by a Non-Collusion Affidavit and a Bid Bond or Certified Check for not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount bid, providing said check or bid bond need not be more than $20,000.00 nor shall not be less than $500.00, and be delivered at the place on or before the hour named above. Bidders are required to conform to all provisions of the Local Public Contracts Law, the Prevailing Wage Act and the requirements of P.L. 1975, c.127. The Borough of Milford Mayor and Council reserve the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality in any bid inuring to the benefit ofthe Borough ofMilford.
