CLARIFICATION DEADLINE 8/11/2023 4:00 PM BID TYPE Term Contract For collection disposal and processing of trash and recyclables from certain residential and commercial units and municipal facilities located within said municipality, Northampton County, PA, inclusive of the collection options. Proposals must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the form of surety bond or cashier's check of the Bidder, drawn on a national bank and payable to Bangor Borough in an amount equal to 10% of the highest amount bid stated as a guarantee on the part of the Bidder that the Bidder will, if called upon to do so, accept and enter into a contract on the attached form, to perform the work covered by such proposal at the rates therein and to furnish a corporate surety for its faithful and entire fulfillment. The municipality reserves the right to waive any informality, including typographical errors, in any bid, and to reject any and all bids, or to award any contract as deemed to be in the Borough's best interests. The reason(s) for the rejection of all bids shall be announced at a public meeting and noted in the minutes. Following the opening of bids, no bid may be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) calendar days.
