Site work and paving for a road / highway in Allenwood, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Fog Seal Furnish and place approximately 54,000 SY of asphalt fog seal. A bid bond or certified check in the amount of 10% of the contract will be required at the bid opening. Payment and Performance Bonds in the amount of 100% of the contract, as well as proof of workmen's compensation insurance, will be required within 20 days of receiving notice of being awarded the contract on each bid. All work and material must meet current online specifications Form 408 and its supplements. Gregg Township reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. Asphalt Fog Seal For Asphalt Seal Coats This work is the treatment of an asphalt seal coat with an application of asphalt material and an application of fine aggregate. All work and material in accordance with the current Publication 408 Section 472. It is the contractor responsibility to sweep all loose aggregate and dispose of properly prior to the Fog Seal application. Incidental to the above items: is mobilization; cleaning and sweeping the roadway prior to placement; provide affidavit showing aggregate and oil compatibility and provide Traffic Control according to Pub. 213. All work must be completed in accordance with the current PA DOT Pub. 408 Specifications and its supplement.
