Renovation of a medical facility in Surrey, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
The sterilizers at SMH are 15 years old and past useful life. The objective is to replace the existing steam sterilizer equipment in the Medical Device Reprocessing (MDR) Department on Level P1 of the Surrey Memorial Hospital South Building with new equipment. The department intends to expand the number of sterilizers to meet growing demand for this vital service so that patients receive the best care available. The Project is to replace the current four (4) sterilizers with five (5) new sterilizers. The project will include assessment of existing electrical, HVAC, plumbing, millwork, codes and other related services to ensure the facility can meet the needs of the new Sterilizers as well meeting current environmental standards for such units.
