The City invites Quotations from experienced and qualified Contractors for the provision of everything required including all skilled labour, tools, materials, equipment for scheduled preventative maintenance ("PM") Services, repairs and annual load bank testing ("LBT") of the City of Surrey's emergency standby generators and associated equipment and any other requirements. The City does not guarantee any number of emergency standby generators will require Services and may increase or decrease the number of emergency standby generators requiring Service during the Term. The City has approximately 75 emergency standby generators located throughout the City. Some of the generators are located at City buildings, Fire Halls, and pump stations where they provide emergency backup power in the event of a power loss. Generators at Fire Halls will have PM inspections annually at the time of load bank testing. All inquiries related to this RFQ should be directed in writing to purchasing@surrey.ca.
