Update:In the 2020-2025 King County Parks Levy, $2/mil dollars was set aside for trail connections around the former Wayne Golf Course property. In 2021, King County used $750k as a grant match to purchase an additional 5 acres of steep hillside trails adjacent to the property which will eventually be transferred to the City of Bothell. The remaining $1.25/mil can be used to construct a connector trail along the former back nine to Blyth Park which connects into the Sammamish River Trail.
