Cleaning and inspection of approximately 82,511 linear feet (LF) (about 15.6 miles) of various sizes (6-inch to 33-inch diameter) of sanitary sewer mains. Inspection rating shall conform to current National Association of Sewer Service Companies Pipeline Assessment Certification Program (NASSCO PACP) and deliverables shall be compatible with electronic format. All work associated with this contract shall include, but not be limited to, mobilization/demobilization, demolition, surface restoration, erosion and sediment control, cleaning, debris removal and disposal, inspection, and testing, permitting, compliance with all environmental and permit requirements, site restoration, and such other items or details that are required by the Contract Documents to be performed, placed, constructed, or installed.

11/22/2023 5:00 PM (PDT) A certified check or corporate surety bond of not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount bid for the total cost of the project must accompany each proposal. Time of Completion shall be Sixty (60) working days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Liquidated damages for failure to complete the work within the specified time are specified in the Contract Documents. If the Bidder is awarded the Contract but fails to complete the work within the Contract time limit set forth above, or as it may be extended as provided in the Contract Documents, Bidder agrees to pay liquidated damages to the City at the rate of $1,000 per each calendar day until the work is satisfactorily completed. The Bidder agrees to accept as full payment for the construction of the Project the amount computed in accordance with the bid schedule amounts, which include all costs for labor, materials, tools, equipment, services, taxes, insurance, overhead, profit, warranty performance and all other costs necessary to perform the work in accordance with the Contract Documents. The City may reject any or all bids and shall reject a bid of any party who has been delinquent or unfaithful in any former contract with the City. The City also reserves the right to waive any irregularities or informalities in any bid or in the bidding procedures. All bidders shall be notified of the award.
