This will include two projects identified in the Stormwater Basin Master Plan (WO-3 and WO-4) in Wards 5 and 7 to restore capacity to the East Santa Clara Waterway. Project WO-3 will replace two undersized culvert norths of Hunsaker with a large culvert or an open channel. WO-4 will regrade the existing waterway from Lone Oak Way to Hunsaker Lane. These projects will also improve water quality and habitat function to these reaches for the waterway. These projects will coordinate with the Lane County Hunsaker Lane culvert replacement Stormwater Basin Master Plan Project WO-3. Additional operations and maintenance costs are expected for this project, but it is too early in the project lifecycle to determine a reliable estimate. This project is included in the city’s 2023-2029 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). As of January 3, 2024, per owner, the project is at 30% design and construction is anticipated for 2025. Project status: In progress. Preliminary scoping has started for this project.
