Bids will be based on the furnishing and delivery of Liquid Aluminum Sulfate (Alum) and Sodium Hypochlorite Solution in the quantities estimated in each Bid Proposal and in conformance with the requirements of the Specifications. Sealed Bids for the furnishing and delivery of Liquid Aluminum Sulfate (Alum) and Sodium Hypochlorite Solution for the period beginning January 1, 2024 and ending December 31, 2024, All Bids must be enclosed in individual sealed envelopes marked distinctly on the outside, SEALED BID FOR LIQUID ALUMINUM SULFATE (ALUM) or SEALED BID FOR SODIUM HYPOCHLORITE SOLUTION and must be accompanied by a certified check or Bid Bond in the amount of 10% of the total bid amount, payable to the Bloomsburg Municipal Authority. Prospective bidders will be required to register their name, address, phone, and email address at least five (5) working days prior to the date of the Bid Opening. Addendum, if any, will be issued only to those persons of firms whose name and address are of record with the Authority as having obtained a copy of the Bid Documents. Bidders may withdraw their bids before opening, in person or by their agent. The Authority reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, or to waive any informality in the Bids received, and to accept any Bid deemed to be most favorable to the interests of The Municipal Authority of the Town of Bloomsburg. Bids will be taken under advisement and the award of a Contract, if awarded, will be made within 60 days after the date of opening of the Bids.
