This Project provides for approximately 3,900 linear feet of roadway improvements along 22nd Street. The scope of work includes, but not limited to Pulverize, re-shape and re-compact existing pavement Provide cement treatment of pulver-mixed pavement Placement of limestone base Placement of prime coat Placement of ahot-mix asphalt surface Construction of intersection turnouts Construction of driveway turnouts Backfilling of pavement edges Placement of stone rip rap Re-grading of roadside ditches Final site cleanup The deadline to ask questions is 11/20/2023 5:00 PM CST A bid bond in the amount of 5 percent of the bid issued by an acceptable surety shall be submitted with each bid. A certified check or bank draft payable to the City of Ivanhoe, Texas or negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (as par value) may be submitted in lieu of the Bid Bond. All contractors/subcontractors who are debarred, suspended or otherwise excluded from or ineligible for participation on federal assistance programs may not undertake any activity in part or in full under this project. Minority Business Enterprises, Small Business Enterprises, Women Business Enterprises, and Section 3 Businesses are encouraged to submit bids. Ivanhoe, Texas reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. Bids may be held by the City of Ivanhoe for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the bidder's qualifications prior to the contract award.
